Annie's Hope is a community based nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive support services for children, teens and their families who are grieving the death of someone significant.

The St. Louis Bereavement Center for Young People, d/b/a Annie’s Hope is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Our EIN is:  43-1801433.  It is our goal to be the "go to" bereavement center focused solely on providing the most comprehensive services to meet the needs of grieving children, adolescents and their families in the greater St. Louis region.

ATTENTION, ATTENTION!

WE NEED CAMP COUNSELORS AND NURSES!

Camp Courage & Camp Erin - St. Louis, our two free camps serving grieving kids of the greater St. Louis region, will be here before we know it.

We are recruiting 69 energetic, kid-loving, playful, hard-working volunteers who are over the age of 18 and a high school graduate.

The more volunteers we recruit, the more campers we can accept.

Camp Counselors must be available for the 6 night/7 day, over-night experience (including training) and submit an application by Friday, March 27th, 2015.

Nurses may be available for a partial week and ideally, attend training as well.

Camp Courage counselors dates:

Saturday, June 6th - Friday, June 12th.

Camp Erin - St. Louis counselor dates:

Saturday, June 13th - Friday, June 19th.

GRIEVING KIDS!

CAMP COURAGE AND CAMP ERIN - ST. LOUIS

is for you!

If you are between the ages of 6 & 18, you can apply to attend our unique over-night camp designed just for you, and other kids like you who are trying to live without someone special.

The dates are:

Camp Courage (for ages 6-11):

Monday, June 8th - Friday, June 12th

Camp Erin - St. Louis (for ages 12-18):

Monday, June 15th - Friday, June 19th

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM with last session on May 13th.

We need an application for each person participating- including each adult. (The forms can be completed electronically, saved to your computer then attached & emailed to Annie's Hope or they can be printed and mailed to Annie's Hope.)

COMPREHENSIVE GRIEF WORKSHOP

32 hour didactic & experiential workshop for social workers, nurses, school counselors, clergy, hospice workers, therapists, teachers, child life specialists, etc.

When: July 30th & 31st, August 3rd & 4th

If you don't have an eScrip Card for Annie's Hope yet, it is NOT too late. Every time you shop at Schnuck's - anytime throughout the year - you can help to heal bereaved kids all over St. Louis.


Just ask for an eScrip card at the customer service desk. Then, call the number on the card or go online towww.escrip.com to activate it.  The Group ID number for Annie's Hope is:  500004971. Ask the checker to swipe your eScrip card before they start scanning your groceries. A percentage of your purchase will be given to Annie's Hope--at NO COST to you. What a win-win program!!
